Well one more Christmas is over, and it was another good one. Currently at the Almost McCarthy household, we are up one Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT, a Talking Heads boxset, and more Old Navy gift cards that you can shake a stick at.

Pets are notoriously difficult to photograph. Have to say you did an incredible job.
By the way, I'm reading "Dry" and gave my dad "Rareities" for Christmas. So...
Oh, yeah, and I had never heard of Joan Didion until I read an excerpt of hers called "Sentimental Journeys" for my freshman English 104 class at DePaul this fall. So your blog is kind of reflecting my life right now.
